Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 1
- butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- to 10 potatoes, cooked and mashed - 8 item
How to make potato casserole:
After mashing potatoes, and while hot, add cream cheese, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper. Whisk or beat until smooth. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole and sprinkle with Lawry's salt. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.Optional: For color or variation, add 1 chopped green pepper or 1/2 cup chopped onion or 1 small can pimento or 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese or any combination and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese before baking.
