Vegetable casserole
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- can French-style green beans - 1 item
- can Shoe Peg corn - 1 item
- tube Ritz crackers, crushed - 1 item
- dash of garlic - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, chopped - 1 item
- sour cream topping - 1 c
How to make vegetable casserole:
Drain liquid from vegetables. Layer in a 9 x 13-inch dish, starting with beans, then add onion over vegetables. Combine celery soup and sour cream. Pour over vegetables and onion. Melt margarine; add to cracker crumbs. Spread over casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Main dish, Casseroles.
