Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 2 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • cooked rice - 1 c
  • chicken, cooked and sliced - 2 c

How to make chicken and rice casserole:

Cook broccoli just until tender. Drain and arrange in the bottom of a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with half of cheese and the chicken and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with rice. Make a white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and sour cream. Pour over rice. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 400° for 15 or 20 minutes.
