Chicken and rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- chicken, cooked and sliced - 2 c
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Cook broccoli just until tender. Drain and arrange in the bottom of a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with half of cheese and the chicken and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with rice. Make a white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and sour cream. Pour over rice. Top with remaining cheese.
