Pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- bouillon cube - 1 item
- tomatoes - 2 c
- green peppers, julienned - 2 item
- beef, julienned - 2 lb
How to make pepper steak:
Melt butter in skillet, add beef and garlic. Saute until browned. Remove meat and add onion and green pepper. Saute two minutes. Return meat and add tomatoes to skillet with bouillon beef cube. Simmer (15 to 20 minutes) for round. Blend remaining ingredients and add to meat mixture, stirring constantly, for a couple of minutes until thick.
