Turkey tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 1 pt
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 2 c
- spaghetti, cooked and drained - 8 oz
- cooked, cubed turkey - 2 c
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- dried parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cans mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 2 oz
How to make turkey tetrazzini:
Heat cream in microwave for 2 to 4 minutes. Melt margarine in big frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and saute until tender. Add salt, pepper and flour. Gradually stir in cheese, parsley, 1/4 cup almonds, mushrooms and turkey. Toss with spaghetti and put in buttered 12 x 8 x 2-inch glass dish (2 quart). Sprinkle with remaining almonds.
