Ingredients/Components

  • salt
  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • vinegar
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • can mushrooms - 1 oz
  • green pepper, sliced - 1 item
  • large onion, sliced - 1 item
  • pork steak, cut into strips or any lean pork - 1 1

How to make cantonese pork:

Brown pork in oil in skillet. Drain, if necessary. Place pork in Dutch oven or crock-pot and cover with onion and pepper strips. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours in crock-pot or 3 to 4 hours on stove, adding water, if necessary. Serve with rice.
