Ingredients/Components
- salt
- brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- pork steak, cut into strips or any lean pork - 1 1
How to make cantonese pork:
Brown pork in oil in skillet. Drain, if necessary. Place pork in Dutch oven or crock-pot and cover with onion and pepper strips. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours in crock-pot or 3 to 4 hours on stove, adding water, if necessary. Serve with rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Pork loins.
