Overnight scalloped chicken casserole

- pkg - 1 oz
- milk
- soft bread crumbs
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 3 item
- American cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
- cans cream of mushroom soup undiluted - 2 item
- chopped, cooked chicken or turkey - 4 c
- melted butter or margarine, divided - 1/2 c
How to make overnight scalloped chicken casserole:
Combine soup, milk and cheese in large bowl. Add chicken, macaroni and eggs. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Toss the bread crumbs with remaining butter; sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 60 to 65 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
