Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Cook carrots (sliced diagonally) until barely done. Slice onion and separate into rings. Slice green pepper in slivers. Make sauce with remaining ingredients. Pour over vegetables. Marinate overnight. Keeps well in refrigerator.Hints: Mix vinegar with soup gradually. Mix salt, mustard and pepper with the sugar (while dry).
