Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
How to make copper pennies:
Slice carrots 1/4 inch thick. Cut pepper into strips or chop. Also chop onion. Cook carrots about 15 minutes in salted water; drain. Then add green pepper and onion. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over carrots. Let stand 2 hours.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low sodium, Salads.
