Linda's beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- beef stew meat - 1 lb
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- cups V-8 juice - 3-1/2 item
- onion, quartered - 1 item
- cups sliced carrots - 2 item
- cups cubed, peeled potatoes - 2-1/2 item
- cup celery - 1 item
How to make linda's beef stew:
Place flour in plastic bag. Add meat cubes, a few at a time, shaking to coat. In a large skillet brown meat, half at a time, in hot oil. Layer in Crock Pot, potatoes, onion, carrots and celery. Put meat on top of vegetables, pour V-8 juice over the meat. Cover, cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or till meat and vegetables are tender.
