Ingredients/Components
- lbs ground chuck - 2 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cups water - 2 item
- pkgs taco seasoning - 2 item
- pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix - 1 item
- can Ro-tel tomatoes - 1 item
- 15 oz can great northern beans - 1 item
- 15 oz cans pinto beans - 2 item
- 15 oz cans red kidney beans - 2 item
- 29 oz can chopped tomatoes - 1 item
- 15 oz cans yellow whole kernel corn - 2 item
- cup sugar - 1/4 item
- jar pasta sauce optional - 1/2 item
How to make santa fe soup:
Brown meat and onions. Drain fat. All remaining ingredients in large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring often so it won't stick. Lower heat and simmer for 2 hours or put in crock pot and simmer on high all day.Serve with tortilla or corn chips, sour cream and grated cheese.
Makes large pot. Leftovers freeze well.
