Ingredients/Components
- dry mixed beans - 2 c
- minced garlic - 1 tsp
- small purple onion, chopped - 1 item
- can tomato and green chilies - 1 item
- can Mexicorn - 1 item
- salt, pepper, onion powder and ground red pepper to taste - 1 item
- ham - 1 item
How to make bean soup:
In crock-pot, combine all ingredients, except ham, with 2 quarts water. Mix well. Then cover top completely with one layer of ham. Cook on high for 7 hours, stirring once or twice.
