Ingredients/Components

  • each breasts and thighs - 1 fryer
  • to 4 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped fine - 3 item
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • celery, chopped - 2/3 c
  • carrots, chopped fine - 1/2 c
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • parsley - 1 item
  • can beef broth - 1 item

How to make chicken soup:

Place chicken in large stockpot and cover with water. Cook until chicken is done. Remove from liquid, let cool and debone.

While chicken is cooling, add garlic, onion, celery, carrots, bay leaves, parsley and Cavender's spice to water. Pick chicken from bone and return to liquid and vegetables. As water evaporates, add broths to chicken and veggie mixture.

Additional water may be added if needed. If you desire, you may add noodles or potatoes to soup.
