Linda's sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1 tsp
• powdered sugar - 1 c
• margarine - 1 c
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp
• eggs, well beaten - 2 item
• Crisco oil - 1 c

How to make linda's sugar cookies:

Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add beaten eggs. Stir in oil, vanilla and dry ingredients. Refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.

Make into small balls. Roll in colored sugar, "green and red". Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in same color sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° until lightly browned.
