Hummus
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 Tbsp
- cloves garlic - 4 item
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- fresh lemon juice - 1/4 c
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- white onion - 1/2 item
- red onion, coarsely chopped - 1/2 item
- bunch watercress - 1 item
- can garbanzo beans chickpeas, drained - 1 oz
- sesame paste tahini - 1/3 c
How to make hummus:
Process first 7 ingredients. Add beans and blend until pureed and mix smooth.Arrange watercress on platter. Mound dip in center and garnish with red and white onion.
Serve with carrots, celery, radishes, homemade breadsticks or toasted pita bread. Makes 2 3/4 cups.
