Hot crab dip
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- Swiss cheese - 1/2 lb
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- sherry
- red pepper to taste - 1 item
- bunch green onions - 1/2 item
- bunch parsley - 1/2 item
- cream or canned milk - 1 pt
How to make hot crab dip:
Melt the butter and saute the green onions and parsley. Blend in flour slowly and smooth out with 1 pint of cream (or canned milk). Add Swiss cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Gently put in 1 pound crabmeat and salt and peppers to taste. Add sherry and simmer 7 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Crab.
