Italian meatballs



  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • cloves garlic - 3 item
  • lean ground round - 2 lb
  • or 3 eggs - 2 item
  • Romano cheese - 1/2 c
  • lean ground pork - 1 lb
  • bread crumbs from 3 slices of bread
  • oregano, garlic powder and sweet basil - 1 item
  • Ragu spaghetti sauce with garden vegetables - 1 item

How to make italian meatballs:

Mix the meat, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and seasonings. Season to taste. When mixing all together, add cold water, approximately 1/4 cup. Mix well and form into balls. Grease large baking pan with olive oil. Bake at 400° until brown.

While meatballs are browning, saute garlic cloves in large saucepan. Add Ragu sauce and simmer with meatballs.
