Ingredients/Components
- ground beef
- medium onion - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 1 pkg
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 3 item
- Colby cheese - 1 lb
- salt, pepper and garlic to taste - 1 item
- small cans green chiles - 2 item
How to make green chile casserole:
Brown beef and onion; drain off grease. Add green chiles and salt; simmer 10 minutes. In a large casserole dish, place layer of corn tortillas, next layer beef mixture on tortillas, then put a layer of condensed cream of mushroom soup, then cheese. Keep layering until all ingredients are used. Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes or microwave on High for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
