Ingredients/Components
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can water - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- rice - 1/2 c
- ground sirloin - 1 lb
- bundle Swiss chard - 1 item
How to make stuffed swiss chard:
Quickly blanch Swiss chard in boiling water. Mix beef, rice, onion, parsley, salt and pepper. Lay out leaves. Cut off stems. Stuff one leaf at a time and roll. Put stems on bottom of pan, then put rolls on top. Add tomato sauce and water. Cook for 1 hour on slow heat. Serve with boiled rice or potatoes.
