Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • soy sauce - 2 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 1/2
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • recipe biscuit dough Bisquick - 1/2 item
  • sliced pitted ripe olives, if desired - 1/2 c

How to make meat pie:

Heat oven to 450°. In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onions until meat is brown. Spoon off drippings. Stir in soup, milk, soy sauce and salt; heat through. Gently stir in olives and parsley. Pour mixture into baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inches). Prepare 1/2 recipe Bisquick biscuit dough from basic recipe. Roll dough into square, 7 x 7-inches. Cut square into 1-inch strips. Place strips over meat mixture. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 4 servings.
