Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 1/2
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- recipe biscuit dough Bisquick - 1/2 item
- sliced pitted ripe olives, if desired - 1/2 c
How to make meat pie:
Heat oven to 450°. In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onions until meat is brown. Spoon off drippings. Stir in soup, milk, soy sauce and salt; heat through. Gently stir in olives and parsley. Pour mixture into baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inches). Prepare 1/2 recipe Bisquick biscuit dough from basic recipe. Roll dough into square, 7 x 7-inches. Cut square into 1-inch strips. Place strips over meat mixture. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Savory pies.
