Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ground beef
- medium onion - 1 item
- soup can milk - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 tsp
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- can half and half - 1/2 item
- to 2 handfuls oatmeal - 1 item
How to make swedish meatballs:
Mix first 5 ingredients by hand. Shape into walnut size meatballs. Fry on all sides until brown. Remove from pan, saving drippings. Cool drippings slightly and add soup, stirring briskly with a wire whisk. Stir in milk and half and half. Add more milk if needed to obtain a gravy. Return meatballs to gravy and heat through.
