Egg casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 6 item
- shredded sharp cheese - 1 c
- slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 6 item
- coarsely crushed potato chips
How to make egg casserole:
Cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour and add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Add cheese and stir until melted. Place layer of egg slices in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Cover with half of the cheese sauce, then half the chips and half the bacon. Repeat layers.
