- small onion - 1 item
- ham - 1/2 lb
- garlic - 1 item
- bacon - 1/2 lb
- sausage - 1/2 lb
- cilantro - 1 item
- pinto beans - 2 lb
- large tomato, chopped - 1 item
- chorizo sausage - 1/2 lb
- "Arbol" hot peppers - 8 item
How to make frijoles charros:
Put beans to boil with 5 garlic cloves and salt. Fry the chorizo sausage, onion and the chopped tomato. In a separate pan, fry the bacon, ham and sausage. When the beans are almost cooked, take out the garlic cloves and add the beans to all the fried items and the hot peppers and chopped cilantro.
