Cream of potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- medium potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 item
- bunch green onions, sliced - 1 item
- ham stock, fat removed - 1 qt
- leftover ham from bone - 1 item
How to make cream of potato soup:
Place stock, vegetables, seasonings and ham in a medium stock pot. Simmer 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in butter. Mix flour and some of the hot broth in a small bowl, stirring until smooth. Return to the pot, stirring into the soup. Add milk.
