Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • chopped onion - 3/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
  • celery - 1 c
  • mushroom soup - 1 c
  • red pepper - 1/2 c
  • salmon - 2 c
  • dried bread cubes - 4 c

How to make salmon casserole:

Place 1/2 of bread cubes in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch dish. Mix together onion, celery, peppers, mayonnaise and fish. Spread over bread cubes. Add a little salt and pepper to taste. Add remaining bread cubes over top.

Beat eggs well and add milk and undiluted soup. Pour over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Cover tightly. Loosen cover and bake 1 1/4 hours in a 350° oven. Add cheese. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes.
