- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- celery, diced - 1 item
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- green pepper, diced - 1/2 item
- hard-boiled eggs, diced - 2 item
- small can crabmeat - 1 item
- slices bread wet and crumbled - 2 item
How to make crab cakes:
Fry celery, onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add crab, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well; form into cakes. Dip cakes in cracker crumbs, then egg, then cracker crumbs and fry slowly.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
