Shrimp creole



  • butter - 1/2 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
  • dry white wine - 1/3 c
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • tomato puree - 1/2 c
  • liquid red pepper seasoning - 1 to
  • chicken bouillon - 1/2 c
  • celery stalks, thinly sliced - 2 item
  • large chopped onions - 2 item
  • sweet green peppers, chopped
  • large shrimp, shelled - 2 lb

How to make shrimp creole:

Saute pepper, onions and celery in butter and oil in a large pot uncovered until tender. Stir in chicken broth and tomato puree. Bring to boiling, lower heat and simmer 15 minutes.

Add Worcestershire sauce, wine, red pepper seasoning and salt. Simmer 5 minutes. Add shrimp, simmer 10 minutes more. Serve with rice and sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired.
