Ingredients/Components
- light cream - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell
- chopped green pepper
- onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- grated Swiss cheese
- red pepper
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make country breakfast pie:
Cook sausage until done. Crumble and drain. Prepare pie shell. Mix together cheese and sausage. Sprinkle in shell. Lightly beat eggs in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and add to egg mixture. Pour in shell.Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on rack 10 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
