Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • eggs, lightly beaten - 10 item
  • light cream - 3 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
  • Swiss cheese, shredded - 1 c
  • bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
  • day old bread, cubed - 16 oz
  • sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained

How to make country breakfast casserole:

Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Place bread in pan. Sprinkle with cheeses. Combine rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake for 1 hour at 350° or until golden brown. Serves 6 to 8.
