Chinese chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- onion, chopped - 1 Tbsp
- celery, diced - 1 c
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 oz
- rice, cooked - 1 c
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 c
- cooked and cubed chicken - 2 c
- cornflakes, crushed slightly - 1 c
How to make chinese chicken:
Mix all ingredients together, except margarine, almonds and corn flakes. Put in 2-quart oblong casserole.Melt margarine. Add almonds and flakes. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake 35 minutes at 350°. Serves 8.
