Chinese chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- chicken breasts or thighs - 4 item
- herb seasoned dressing mix - 1 pkg
- fresh mushrooms or 2 cans sliced mushrooms - 1 lb
- large can Chinese vegetables chop suey vegetables - 1 item
How to make chinese chicken:
Drain vegetables; place in bottom of a 2-quart (8 x 10-inch) baking dish. Brown chicken on both sides; place chicken on top of vegetables. Cover with sour cream. Add cream of celery soup. Saute mushrooms and onions together. Add dressing mix and onion soup. Mix with 1 cup of water; stir well. Cover chicken with dressing mix. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Serves 4.
