Chicken parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 c
- Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- chicken breasts skinless and boneless - 4 item
- fresh parsley or 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- Prego spaghetti sauce - 2 c
- hot, cooked spaghetti about 8 oz - 4 c
How to make chicken parmesan:
Dip chicken in egg; on waxed paper coat chicken with crumbs. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned on both sides. Remove; set aside. In same skillet, heat spaghetti sauce to boiling. Add chicken. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 5 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Sprinkle with cheeses and parsley.
