Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- evaporated milk
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
- marjoram - 1/4 tsp
- shredded sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item
- celery salt or seed - 1/2 tsp
- cubed, cooked turkey or chicken - 2 c
- spaghetti or 2 1/2 c - 8 oz
- can mushrooms, drained and liquid reserved - 1 oz
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Cook spaghetti; drain and rinse with hot water. Drain mushrooms and save liquid. Melt butter and saute onion. Add seasonings and mushroom liquid. Blend in soup. Gradually add milk. Cook until smooth and rather thick. Add remaining ingredients and top with cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350° until lightly browned on top.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
