Ingredients/Components
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- corn flake crumbs - 1/3 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- dried parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- large boneless chicken breasts skinless - 2 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
How to make microwave parmesan chicken:
Mix tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic salt in a 2-cup measuring cup. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on High for 2 minutes. Stir. Reduce power to Medium for 5 minutes.Mix corn flake crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes. Dip chicken breasts in beaten egg, then in crumb mixture. Place in rectangular or square baking dish. Microwave on Medium-high for 9 to 14 minutes, until tender. Do not turn over. Pour sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with Mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Microwave on Medium-high until cheese melts, 2 to 5 minutes. Serve with Parmesan spaghetti.
