Chicken curry
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/8 tsp
- curry powder
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- cooked rice - 3 4
- chicken broth or 1 c - 1 c
- diced, cooked and boned chicken - 2 c
How to make chicken curry:
Melt butter over low heat in heavy saucepan. Saute onion and curry in melted butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in chicken broth and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Add chicken and lemon juice. Pour over rice and serve.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Curries.
