Ingredients/Components
- toasted slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- diced green pepper - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- grated onion - 2 Tbsp
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms - 3 oz
- cooked rice - 1 c
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- cream of mushroom soup
- cornflakes - 1 c
- diced, cooked chicken breast - 2 c
How to make crunchy chicken casserole:
Mix together chicken, soup, mayonnaise, vegetables, rice, juice, onion, mushrooms and almonds in greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle cornflakes and butter on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
