Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- butter flavoring or vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make caramel corn:
Boil together for 5 minutes the margarine and corn syrup. Remove from heat and add soda, brown sugar, salt and butter or vanilla flavoring. Stir well with 6 quarts of popped corn. Spread on cookie sheets. Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Store in tightly covered container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
