  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • butter flavoring or vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make caramel corn:

Boil together for 5 minutes the margarine and corn syrup. Remove from heat and add soda, brown sugar, salt and butter or vanilla flavoring. Stir well with 6 quarts of popped corn. Spread on cookie sheets. Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Store in tightly covered container.
