Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 C
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 16 C
  • cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
  • white syrup - 1/2 C

How to make caramel corn:

Bring to a boil: brown sugar, margarine and white syrup and boil for 5 minutes. Then add the baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix well and pour over the popped corn. Put in large cake pan or roaster and bake in a 200 degree oven for 1 hour -
