Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 C
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 16 C
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- white syrup - 1/2 C
How to make caramel corn:
Bring to a boil: brown sugar, margarine and white syrup and boil for 5 minutes. Then add the baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix well and pour over the popped corn. Put in large cake pan or roaster and bake in a 200 degree oven for 1 hour -Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
