Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- popcorn, popped - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Boil the first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes. Add the soda and vanilla; pour over popcorn. Spread on 2 cookie sheets. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. (I usually make more than 6 quarts of popcorn, making sure the popcorn is nicely covered.)Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
