Baked caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- molasses - 1 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
How to make baked caramel corn:
Melt margarine. Add brown sugar, syrup, molasses and salt. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vinegar, soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn and mix well. Turn into large pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.
