Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- popcorn - 3 qts
How to make caramel corn:
Melt butter in pan for 1/2 hour. Stir every 15 minutes at 250 degrees. Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil. Stir constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, do not stir. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and mix well.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
