Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • parsley, minced - 1 Tbsp
  • fish fillets, fresh or frozen - 2 lb
  • bread crumbs, buttered or seasoned - 1/2 c

How to make baked fish fillets:

Cut fillets in serving pieces. Place in greased, shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Make a white sauce of butter, flour, dry mustard, salt, pepper and milk. Pour sauce over fillets. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parsley. Bake in moderate oven, 350° for 35 minutes. Makes 6 servings.

Very good recipe for bluefish.
