Baked fish fillets
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- parsley, minced - 1 Tbsp
- fish fillets, fresh or frozen - 2 lb
- bread crumbs, buttered or seasoned - 1/2 c
How to make baked fish fillets:
Cut fillets in serving pieces. Place in greased, shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika, lemon juice, salt and pepper.Make a white sauce of butter, flour, dry mustard, salt, pepper and milk. Pour sauce over fillets. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parsley. Bake in moderate oven, 350° for 35 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
