Applesauce meatloaf
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1-1/2 lb
- dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- natural applesauce - 1/2 c
- instant minced onion or 1 sm - 1-1/2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili sauce - 2 Tbsp
- pinch black pepper - 1 item
How to make applesauce meatloaf:
Mix thoroughly all ingredients except chili sauce. Place in a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Spread chili sauce over top of loaf; return to oven and bake another 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Makes 6 servings.This recipe can also be shaped into meatballs and simmered in a favorite tomato sauce or meat gravy. Serve with pasta, rice or potatoes.
