Chicken cacciatore
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/3 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- spaghetti sauce - 2 c
- bell peppers, chopped - 2 item
- jar mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- pieces chicken breast, boned and skinned - 4 item
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Rinse the chicken and coat with flour. Cook in a large skillet with oil over medium heat, turning occasionally, until lightly browned. Add bell pepper and cook about 1 minute. Add mushrooms and pour spaghetti sauce over chicken. Cover and simmer 25-35 minutes or until chicken is done. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
