Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- yellow squash - 2 lb
How to make yellow squash casserole:
Boil onion and squash together until done; drain and season with butter, salt and pepper. Mash. Add cracker crumbs, 1/2 of the cheese, milk and egg. Stir. Pour into baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Low calorie, Cheese.
