- carrots
- potatoes
- peas
- celery
- onions - 1 pt
- lima and navy beans
- small box alphabets or barley - 1 item
- string or kidney beans
How to make vegetable soup:
Fry hamburg and onions together. Cook each vegetable separately in salt water. Do not drain except for alphabets or barley. Put all together in a big dish. Add about 1 gallon tomatoes or more depending on how thick you want it. Add about 3/4 cup sugar or so to suit taste.
