Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- mayonnaise or salad dressing
- instant minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- barbecue sauce - 1/4 c
- head lettuce - 1 item
- hard-cooked egg, sliced - 1 item
- large tomatoes, cut into eighths - 2 item
- Barbecue Salad Dressing - 1 item
- to 10 slices bacon, crisply fried - 8 item
- cubed, cooked chicken, chilled - 2 c
How to make chicken club salad:
Dressing:1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing1/4 c. barbecue sauce1 Tbsp. instant minced onion1 Tbsp. lemon juice1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper Prepare Barbecue Salad Dressing by blending all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate.Tear lettuce into bite size pieces (about 6 cups). Break bacon into large pieces. Just before serving, add bacon and chicken to lettuce. Toss lightly. Garnish with tomato wedges and egg slices. Serve with Salad Dressing. Yields 4 servings at 450 calories per serving.
