Ingredients/Components

  • envelopes Knox gelatine - 3 item
  • cold water - 3/4 c
  • sugar - 3 c
  • white vanilla - 4 Tbsp
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • cream - 1 qt
  • milk - 7 c

How to make vanilla ice cream:

Mix gelatine and water. Add scalded milk. Mix well. Add sugar, vanilla and salt. Add cream and milk. Freeze. Makes 6 quarts.
