No-bake bars
Ingredients/Components
- Cheerios - 4 c
- crisp rice cereal - 2 c
- dry roasted peanuts - 2 c
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- creamy peanut butter
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
How to make no-bake bars:
In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients; set aside. In a saucepan, bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil. Cook and stir just until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Cool. Cut into 3-inch bars.
