Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item

How to make tea cakes:

Sift flour and baking powder into large mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients; mix well. Turn out on floured surface; knead until easy to handle, roll out to about 1/2-inch. Cut out with small cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350° oven until golden brown.
